Or you could have my experience where you say “i don’t care if it’s not canon, i know it won’t be canon, i still love it and want to ship it” and have all the people who have decided their ship will be endgame (as if fiction is a game they can win) tell you how much you suck and how they hope your cancer will actually kill you because you’re BETRAYING THE SHIP by not believing it will be canon.
